Technical traders use charts and patterns in those charts to try and "crystal ball" price movements. It is a deeply interesting area as the the patterns correspond not only to data, but to sentiment. Interesting but too deep for me, i'm afraid. That's why I look at the data for NG, as it is one commodity that doesn't only respond to human feeling, but to weather as well. And weather is what I know, to the extent any one can.
