Hi Ceejay,
A followup for tomorrow.
This is update of what I found last week, end of day Wed. before report:
http://www.naturalgasinvesting.org/2011/06/ became available about 5.30pm
June 29, 2011
Natural Gas Inventory Estimates Range +80-84bcf
Natural gas analysts surveyed by Platts are estimating a natural gas inventory
injection of 80 Bcf to 84 Bcf for the week that ended June 24, 2011.
The EIA will report weekly natural gas inventory data at 10:30ET on Thursday
June 30.
No mention of Wed. price movement as was the case for last week ???
-----
Have you come up with an estimated net injection for this week ???
Last week the EIA number came in 7 bcf above the expected range and price dropped quite a bit.
Price also went down on the preceding Wed. as it did again today.
I have learned that some "paid subscription" data is available as early as Tuesday, based on the prior weeks pipeline transmission data.
------
My estimate for tomorrow's build (net injection/increase in storage) is 78 bcf.
If this number actually pans out, then based on S/D the Ng price should actually go up tomorrow after the stocks report.
I allow that 2 bcf is not a huge number in the scheme of things, so, we'll see what really happens !!
Let me know your net injection/build number.
Thanks, Lee
