I have a second cousin that I saw at a wedding a year ago July. Starting around 1993 (I believe) he and his wife adopted 2 children from Russia. Now he has six or seven. All but one seems to be doing well. One is going to start college this year and another will be going to a trade school after high school. The one that is not doing the best had some health problems when they got him as a little boy that they did not know about.

My cousin said in general they were all able to pick up and speak and understand english fairly well after two years in the US. He did say they struggle a little more with the reading and writting part, which does have a little impact on their schooling and grades.

How bout you Ronbo did you get Rosseta Stone for Russian yet?
