SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures added to gains Thursday after a weekly U.S. government supplies report showed a larger-than-expected decline. Natural gas for March delivery (ngh12) rose 10 cents, or 4.1%, to $2.52 per million British thermal units. The contract traded at $2.47 before the data. The Energy Information Administration reported a decline of 127 billion cubic feet for the week ended Feb. 10. Analysts polled by Platts had expected a decline between 116 bcf and 120 bcf.
