I'm not sure I will be able to properly answer your question, but here goes .........
My Ox charts and data stream are real time and I have tested it in the past.

During light trading (so can see it) I have placed an order, watched it fill and observed the trading volume tick up on the data stream - all within a mouse click.

I can chart ticks with my Ox real time charts, but I really have never used it.

I just looked and looking at price (looks like last trade) on the chart (displaying ticks) I can switch to the data stream (mouse click, only one screen) and the last trade price is consistent and tracks as the price fluctuated. [this was done on the Ng chart to have enough activity while looking]. I can see the quick up/down ticks on the chart that I am unable to catch on the data stream as they are happening too quickly.

BUTTTT, this charting and data is "part and party" to the Ox account.

Trades has "needled me" on looking at 1min. charts, he may not talk to me if I mentioned tick charts !!!!

I'll post another on "capturing a short term trend" with "maximum additional risk" of one "round trip commission" !!!!!!!!
