And here is ABX.to compared to the SPX ETF:SPY to show relative performance. Again ABX is showing underperformance but also at a double bottom. Needs to turn back up again to be convincing. I suspect many traders large and small now buy the pure Gold ETFs rather than the stocks with all their issues to deal with which would explain the underperformance of the Gold stocks. Don't have to buy the Gold stocks to have exposure to Gold anymore. There are plenty of Gold ETFs to choose from including CEF which is about 1/2 and 1/2 Gold and Silver and reasonably priced.
