I cannot get the Coal futures contracts on Ox. Either Applichanian or PRB , so will hang on to that chart.

If you ever do one again, just shorten the time span. All of the activity of current interest has occurred in the last 6 months, certainly the last year.

I don't think I mentioned in the last post that the Coal/Gas fuel burn for power gen. is now at parity !!! First time ever !!
I do think that the "trend" is in place as there are a substantial number of older/less efficient/smaller coal plants slated for "retirement". It is not cost effective to upgrade them to meet emission requirements.
