Yup, I totally agree with you there Trades. Look how fast and effective the 'war' against Khadafi was in Libya. Just a relentless bombing campaign from the air with no real efforts made (or required) on the ground. The result was an incredibly low casuality/injury total for the 'good guys'. Saw the same thing in the first war against Iraq under Bush Senior. When you have that kind of military superiority, it makes sence to land a BIG statement with it as you suggest.
