Since I have daughters, I will clue you as you go along so you don't make terminal errors.

Basically, with daughters and dads/granddads, the rule is:

There are 5 fingers on your hand...that is the number of all-out confrontations you can have with her before she turns to the outside and ignores you as an oppressor. if you nit-pick daughters they will turn away, for sure.

I did not need all five. Work at it and you are the best man in the universe for them. and, all they friends love you, too.
