Re: Cutting back on Food Stamps

I'm not too politically active. Nor, am I the type to keep informed, as that has a tendency to be somewhat upsetting.

However, I just did some digging, viz-a-viz this thread's subject.

Although it is being hawked as a 39 billion dollar, spread over ten year cut ... the amounts spent (your tax dollars) actually increase.

Again, it's another cut from "baseline".

Hawk a 39 billion dollar cut ... but over this ten year period ... more is spent each year .... again, a cut from baseline but an actual increase in tax dollars stolen from the hard working to give to those that will not.

BTW: WIC's increases are held to baseline. Which means the amount of dollar stolen ... year over year ... go up and up and up.

What's a poor girl to do?
