bcb what does your clearing firm charge you? maybe 55 cents per side?

The only good thing about being a broker was setting my own commission rate. I was still w/ a big firm when me and another guy realized the majority of people in the room were either thieves or cowards.

The best thing that has happened to brokers is the race to the bottom on rates. I pay 85 cents per side on some stuff and then 1.29 per side on stuff I don't really trade. Maybe i c/d get cheaper but so what. Joe Public can walk in the door w/ a 5K account and get that 1.29 per side rate at Gain -- OEC's old platform. Great platform and charts too.
