No...I haven't noticed anything other than the jalapenos aren't very hot. The chili's are hot! I'm wondering if my tomatoes are going to be hot. :-))

What I did do that was bad was I planted the peppers way too close to the tomatoes and the tomatoes shade the peppers in the afternoon. It's my understanding that the peppers need a lot of sun.

The whole garden is shaded until about 10:30...probably not good. Next year, I'm going to till up a smaller part in the yard that gets sun longer and put the tomatoes and peppers there...keep the lettuce and other things that don't seem to mind the shade in this one. The squash doesn't seem to mind. A couple of the squash plants are just huge and I'll pick squash from them in a couple more days. I'm almost afraid to go in for the squash for fear of being attacked by those big bastards. :-))
