went to do some online banking yesterday and noticed a charge of 2800 bucks for a ticket on some chinese airline and a 14 dollar fee to travelocity made from my debit card. Immediately called bank and started process of stopping the transaction and disabling the debit card! What a pain in the patooty!

Then I noticed a credit to my account from hotels.com, or some such, of 14 bucks. The best we can figure about that is...we got the card canceled so fast that whatever hotel they tried to buy was unable to process the card and hotels.com refunded my account their fee of 14 dollars.

I was lucky that I just happened to go online banking when I did or this could have been really bad.

Have no idea where or when or how my card was highjacked.

Moral of the story besides my wanting to pile drive some thieving asssed morons face in...be careful out there...this can happen to you.
