I never could read very fast but I could spit back what I read to you nearly word for word. As with every thing else these days, I can't do that nearly as well as when I was young. As a result of my slower deliberate reading style, I am selective in what I read. I read non-fiction.

I envy people who enjoy reading for the sake of reading.
