The old style fracking was done with hot sand. In the Austin Chalk area (around the Giddings, TX area), I had an acquaintance that was hot and heavy into fracking .... Schlumberger was a daily "guest'.
I mean, he had a cost of production at around 24 bucks per bbl. How could you ever go wrong? Ten buck crude made it so.
Still don't quite follow the toilet paper rush. Perhaps, they intend to use it as a medical mask(?).
