Thanks...those are just vases. Put em up here to show the beauty of the mesquite wood. I guess either of them could be an urn. Anything that holds ashes could technically be an urn. Had a friend come over with some nasty looking barnwood, the siding planks, so I could help him build a box for his mother's ashes.
I might have to start turning urns after seeing some of the pricing for them. 1200-1500 for some...none hardly less than 500 bucks for a single person urn.
Might could carve out a niche of mesquite urns amongst the TX population alone. Mesquite being the unofficial wood of TX because they use it a lot in smoking meat.
This time we'll smoke you and put you in the urn. 🤣
