Well...Marty says...Nobody is 100% on trading even fund managers. The funds are not gunning for the retail trade. Fund managers alone cannot move the market much...It takes the whole collective to move the market. The market is the battle ground for emotional stress. A trader must master their emotions and have self-discipline. They have to be in the right frame of mind in order to block out the thing that makes the markets move. Fund managers are just better traders...having confidence and able to be disciplined enough to master their emotions, being able to handle what comes their way. Retail customers lack the confidence to permit a successful trade. It takes a lot of self control, a traders worse enemy is themselves. It takes the conviction and confidence in knowing when you are right...but most importantly when you are wrong.
A lot of people think that they have the game stacked against them with the funds and algos...it's all just human emotion...even when it is programed.
