TFC Commodity Trading Forum

20 years ago, on March 20, 2003, the iraq War started with an areal bombardment of Iraq (“Shock and Awe”). The intent of this first assault was to hit mostly military targets, but over the following few years, huge numbers of Iraqi civilians lost their lives, in addition to almost 5000 US soldiers. Even today, the use of depleted Uranium ammunition in Iraq is causing large numbers of casualties.

Sadly, as we know today, this war was started under false pretenses.

I see some similarities with the current Ukraine war.
