ha...that takes me back to when I was under the influence of my fathers political thinking that dems were the answer and I voted for Carter for my first and second presidential vote.

Little did I realize till later that it really didn't make a lot of difference. A lot of that realization came about as I came to realize the Mighty Regan was, in fact, senile. haha

The worst thing I think he did, besides those you mention, was further the scope oof the "War on Drugs". Many liberties and freedoms fell by the wayside under that hideous piece of work not the least of which was no-knock raid laws.

He had a lot of people fooled, the crazy part is some still won't admit that he wasn't the perfect vision of conservatism. Reminds me of The Trumpites of today.
