I've been to Mars. One of my geology professors, a really great guy in his heart, had something wrong with him that I never quite figured out...ADD AHDH, ABCD...whatever. He had trouble with organization. I can't even remember the name of the class but we were to study the planets from what info we had available to us circa 1987. First stop...mars. MVEM is the inner planetary order...Mercury Venus Earth and Mars. Maybe I misremember if we started at Mercury and quickly ended up on Mars but I remember we got there pretty quick. Propulsion system unknown.

We stayed on Mars for the entirety of the six month semester!?!? Malfunction in the captains primary propulsion system, I suspect. Whatever the cause, there we stayed. Explored every nook and cranny of Mars and I remember squat about it except to possibly say, I have no interest in going back.
