I spend my summers in New York - winters in Canada, since I am a Canadian - need to keep current with my medical benefits - especially the psychiatrist and the asshole specialist! But still trading - Oil this time.
My partner is from Southern California (San Diego) - went to school in Eureka. Since we are here in the winter I'm trying to train her in the art of snow-shoeing - so that she can do the grocery runs. I try to convince her that it's like living in the high Sierra's in Cali.

Do you have any livestock?? Chickens - pigs - heifers?? If you have any hogs - you can trade pork - bellies. LOL

BTW - there is a trader by the name of Mark Cook, who lives on his family farm in Ohio, and farms full time. He is a very successful trader - trades the indexes - but very successful. Very friendly guy. I met him in the late 90's. Take a look at his page when you get a moment.

All the best in yer new life. I grew up on a dairy farm - worked from sun down to sun up. It's a good life. Having a good women to help out with the chores without complaining all the time is a bonus!
