everything is made better today. The 20 V batteries for my cordless drill / driver and impact wrench last a loooong time between charges. They are masterforce which is a menard's brand but made by bosch I believe. Those 3 inch lag nuts ripped into the studs like they were going thru straight drywall. The only reason I drilled pilot holes first was to make sure I was hitting studs. The hole saw attachment to the drill took a little longer to pop the holes for all those cords but only cuz the blades were dull -- little bit of smoke there -- but the 20 volt drill kept right on ripping. No way my old craftsman drilll could have handled that.

Gotta get a framing nailer and compressor next.
