When you tile your showers, whatcha usin' fer waterproofin'? Schuter, Kerdi, ...?

I haven't done a shower in a few years ... I'm thinkin' those nice steam showers with the curb drains would be a welcome addition to my wife's bath.

Some of the stuff out there, tile wise, is quite the scientific affair. Seemingly, these systems are changing all of the time.

Don't forget the knee pads.

For mixing your thinset ... Go to Horror Fright and pick up one of their slow speed 1/2 drills. Not exactly a pro quality tool ... but it does a good job on thinset ... Seems to last ... just won't die

And, they are (when on some coupon sale) MEGA CHEAP.
