If it hasn't been one thing it's been ten.

Just lately, crown on tooth, lawnmower blows up, have to find new mower, now...now...I have had a slow leak in the coolant system on my better truck. I've checked this and I've checked that. Replaced the thermostat housing a while back cause it was leaking...thinking...hoping that was the problem and the easy fix was the cure. Chit no. Leak got worse, I fill the radiator up and get a pressure tester and put on it...no leaks in radiator, hoses, water pump...nothing. Wouldn't hold pressure...leaked down pretty fast. I ask my friend what the hell else could it be...ah yes...the instant he said it I knew that's what it would have to be...blown head gasket. So, I fire up the truck and head back to the exhaust to see if it's blowing steam...no...no steam. Just a fast drip out the tail pipe. How nice!

That ought to be a cheap fix. Used to be, I'd rip the heads off and replace the gasket and be on with it but there aint no way in hell I'm going to tackle that job these days.

off to the shop tomorrow. Can't wait to see that bill!
