Well that's pretty bad but while I'm in a bitcchy mood...I just got back from the shop...not only am I sure there's something fairly nasty wrong with it because as I was driving over there I could see a trail of water coming out the exhaust. Trail...trail...of water...I pushed through 2 gallons of water(don't ask me how I know) in about a 7 mile trip. Trail of water. I bet the head is busted...nay...lets go for a busted block.

Here's the sweet spot though...they can't get me in(maybe) till NEXT MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now I get to sit for days to a week...worrying about what the hell is wrong with it.

Sorry to hear about your water issues. I think I'd try to do something a little better than the duct tape lest ye find yourself with that same issue again. :-))
