It was four days prior to the election. It was an indictment brought about by the special prosecutor on the Iran/Contra deal, Lawrence Walsh. Remember when there were special prosecutors? They cannot be appointed by Congress. It is an executive branch decision/order ... Nixon had one. Bush I had one (this investigation was supposedly directed towards Caspar Weinberger), but he indicted Bush.
Bush was WAY ahead in the polls, prior to this.
This was before all of the early voting of today ... going to the polls was it.
If memory serves me correctly, it was four days before the election ... the presiding president ... INDICTED?
No special prosecutors under this administration ... he ain't as dumb as Nixon, Reagan, or Bush.
