I have the old Buck "Folding Hunter". Had it since the seventies, when it was still 1095 high carbon steel. Rarely use it or carry it anymore, but still have to break it out .. every now and then ...as 1095C is susceptible too rust. Much harder edge than stainless ... I believe it's Rockwell hardness is around 62 ... stainless can't really get much above mid fifties.

Although, that's not spring assist ... and you're close to 3/4 of an inch above the UK limit, it still would not be "legal", as it is a locking blade. Unless you're a member of a pakky moslem gang rape rape gang ... or some soomawli drug gang .... You're looking at some serious time. The soomawlis and pakkys .... nah ... cultural differences and all .... pretty much anything is legal for them, in the UK (United Khalifate).
