Thanks for the comments ! Agreed.

This exercise is not an attempt/desire to trade off the fundamentals.

It is an attempt to gain a better understanding of the events that do impact the market price/direction in the shorter term as the events unfold.

For example, the recent and current slate of storms, wild fires etc. have had little or no impact on price. This may change if serious infrastructure damage occurs? This should become visible.

Similarly for GOM production shut ins to date. Seems to have little/no impact as long as brief at least.

I would like to see if/when/how much the rising USD brings into the equation. So far, no apparent impact.

So, in short, it is just an attempt to better understand the market and maybe get a "heads up" when things may start to change do to fundamental events.

Price is "KING" as you and Trades clearly reinforce !!!
