Hi Trades,

Hopw all is well on the island.

For some reason this email thing is often misunderstood.

You have two choices,
1) have your mail delivered to your 'puter
via your ISP .. (Internet Service Provider)

2) get your mail at the post office ..
Hot Mail, Google, Yahoo, or at your mail box on your ISP's server.

Yes, you can mix and match ..
in other words, you can have the mail delivered by setting up
as many accounts as your ISP allows you to have.
this is done on your 'puter ..
for each mail address you have.
you'll need to configure both of these protocol's ..
the POP (post office protocol) for outgoing mail
and SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol) for incoming mail

you can then set up just under a gazillion email accounts
on the 'free' places .. just follow their instructions for set up ..
i.e. - Hot Mail, Google, Yahoo and many others.
then you'll go TO THAT SITE to access your email account,
and send mail, or read whatever has shown up ..

a word of caution ..

on any account
Delete ALL mail, unopened, where you do not know the sender.

enjoy,

- r
