Yep. What most people don't realize is in Alberta the government and native bands signed treaties originally and while they still demand a piece of the action when their lands are used for whatever B.C. never did sign treaties with most native bands. Sooooooo now days you just don't give them a few bucks and get them to sign an agreement of any kind. Now days they have lawyers and a variety of tactics to get millions of dollars and a permanent piece of the action from any use (violation) of their lands. And the press is only willing to state their case along with the displays of protesting. The media loves a story like this and the government is always made out to be the insensitive bad guy. Makes great copy..................
