Hi CO,
Thanks, !!!!
Now, we are getting to the issue, for which I did not know how to ask the proper question !!!!
"A power plant, on the other hand, looks to control cost and will use markets to hedge and set cost on the balance sheet. If, given his prevailing opinion and perceived conditions, a higher input cost is anticipated, he will go to the futures market and buy to hedge.. I might add this is quite rare when the user goes to market for hedging and can be quite explosive."
OK, great progress !! I am particularly interested in the Commercial end users and how they deal with their problems. Ng is a little unique in that there is no "grain elevator, or silo" but there is storage and a somewhat complicated method of storing, moving Ng and I think I have just "oversimplified" the steps quite a bit just now !!!!
So, will think about what the commercial players have to deal with to keep their operation going !!
Maybe, then we can continue, or possibly you will have additional thoughts. I think you likely now know the issues that I am trying to get my arms around.
Thanks, Lee
