I thought that the CFTC reporting requirements were created, solely, to give me grief.
In 1988, I actually got to CFTC spec max., in bellies. Man, oh man ... the calls that I received from the Butter and Egg Exchange and the gummint .... I had no idea.
I was simply pounding the short side, and pounding and pounding and pounding.
Knowing now .... FRIGHTENING stuff. It wasn't as if I was just a rookie, as I'd been trading for close to nine years.
Fearlessness is caused, not by courage, but ... rather, by stupidity.
I still have no idea how I survived, MUCH LESS, profitted so greatly.
I, to this day, place all thanks (for that and so many other bone-headed moves, from which I escaped), solely upon Providence and His grace.
