and per Canada, I like your system very much, it is logical... i have no problem with taxes and would gladly pay more to help reduce poverty, which of course then means less crime. Scandinavian countries have it very good too... try convincing your average republican here that the real problem is not lazy minorities, mexicans, liberals, socialists and well, good luck! let alone something as drastic as Scandinavia or Canada... we are dealing with people who vote against their own economic interests... so, God bless em all. i hope it all works out but still fear it will be more like the movie and book, The Road before the end of the century.
