Week 12 Update: *PIC*

Given the Cyprus situation I am doubtful there is anything the Fed can say tomorrow that will avert a negative close (this) week 12. Most pundits are saying "Yea but Cyprus is tiny." Samson and Goliath?

Cyprus closed the banks until Thursday. No wonder there are no visible lines of bag holders wanting to liquidate. What if there are televised lines on Thursday? Given the threat of a 9.9% tax on your savings, would you make the withdrawal? If you lived in Greece, Spain or Italy would you make the withdrawal?

If no hysteria on Thursday, then Cyprus truly didn't matter.
