HA! I bet that has been the fate of many a car. As for the Cougar, I have no clue as to it's fate but I suspect it met it's demise in the loving jaws of Nashville's very own car crusher.

The last one I rebuilt was a 64 1/2 mustang convertible K car(I believe was the vin designation that made it special) body off restore...with get this...a 289 and a factory four speed. I went off somewhere with it about 85% complete. Forgot it only had water in the radiator...it was winter time. Pop goes both heads...pop goes the block. . Who knows what else went pop. The last time I saw it, it was on some Doctors trailer destined for his kid to crash and me standing there with a very nice loss of money out of my pocket.

so it goes.
