Re: Thoughts on Crude - rant for the day.

Wayne,
Don't get me going about socialism. The new government of Alberta, which is a genuinely socialist government, is hell bent on destroying whatever is left of the provincial economy. Their political agenda is guaranteed to ruin Alberta.
A conservative government was in power for decades. They managed oil revenues well - were fair to the industry and realized that the health of the economy was dependent upon a healthy relationship with the industry. Oil revenues were used to build the heritage fund, which was in the billions. That fund is now gone.and the province is now running a deficit which is only getting worse.
We have a investment commentator up here - Kevin O'Leary, who has his own show and doesn't hesitate to rage against this gang of incompetent men and women and suggests that the citizens of the province overthrow the government.

Oil, rises and falls, just like any other commodity. We have got so addicted to the stuff that it affects every facet of our lives. But, that's what also makes a market.
A friend of mine is a mining engineer. He lost his job about a month ago, This is the first time in his life that he has been unemployed. He told me that he should have been a dentist. Ha!
You are right tho - it will come back - question is when?
Thanks for contributing.

The other Wayne.
