I was planning on mowing it that day...a task I really enjoyed and have been doing for somewhere around 15 years. I got started doing it for the original owner who was an elderly lady that didn't need to be mowing at her age. When she passed and left the farm to her niece who lives in FL, I just kept mowing. The idea was to keep it looking "lived in." Of course...everybody within 15 miles of here knew this and we weren't fooling anybody. Ha!
"Trying to save my tomatoes with chlorinated and fluoridated water. They like rain lots better." I think this is true. We have gone from having to pour the water to it...to so much rain I can't get in the mud to hoe. Have about lost the whole thing to grass. Sigh.
