In actuality the "media" has nothing to lose. They can easily swerve into an independent position, which is where the fourth estate was supposed to be. Independent observers, reporting actual observations .. and then .. holding forth with their opinion(s), while announcing that they were their studied and learned opinion(s).

Somehow, their opinions started being relayed as "news", not just known factual data (remember the old, who, what, where, when, and why?).

The media could easily morph into some independent fourth estate ... and all will be forgiven.

In reference to Curly, she used little reason or logic in her posts. She mentioned "corporate welfare", when dealing with an individual's return. Not the sharpest machete in the shed.

Look .. I think that you know that I am really not that fond of Trump. It's just a blast egging on the intellectually challenged (Brown Shirt Nazi Fascist Democrat Party Left Wingnuts). Point of fact .. If you have read any of my comments, I doubt that you can find any true defense of Trump. I just comment against many of the baseless claims of the Brown Shirts.

To me, after eight years of abject corruption and theft from our treasury ... I'd be pleased if Mickey Mouse was president. In no way, shape, or form could it be worse that the past eight years. And ... I thought that NO ONE could be worse than Bush ... Lord help me ... I was wrong.
