I don't know if I would go to the trouble. From what I understand the old place caught on fire years ago and was rebuilt. The ambiance of "Texas dive joint" was probably lost. It was quintessential dive, too. When it burned, I believe was when the original cook quit. He probably quit because he lost his seasoned with, who knows how many decades worth of smoked ribs and brisket, smoker. I hear it's not the place it used to be, unfortunately.
Who knows...I haven't been in 20 years.
