That's spelled exactly the way that Jimmie Luecke spelled his name. He owned the coffee shop / restaurant in Bastrop.
Jimmie was a DPS trooper (highway patrolman), in the Bastrop area ... he would notice certain cars, driving around the Austin Chalk area (where they used to frac with hot sand) and then see them stop at various ranch and farm houses.
He found that they were scouts for various and sundry oil companies and wildcatters. He would see where they stopped .. then .. he would go and talk to the people that they talked to. So, if they offered X dollars for mineral rights .. he'd over X+ ... and, through such .. he became one rich sumbit.
I once asked him why he had the coffee shop .. he explained that it paid for itself, and was much cheaper than renting offices with conference rooms. He was one smart sob and quite the funny guy .. not to mention quite well off, financially.
