Re: Moore faceplants in Alabama

You early birds ... Well, perhaps in ICanDance's case .. night owls. This time of year, I sleep in .. normally until seven or so .. but, this morning .. around 4:30 .. a little after, actually .. I get a call from my house that sits on Lake Erie ... Gorgeous home .. but, in any event .. the freaking furnace went out ... So, I make the thirty minute drive ... (I am so glad that someone gave me one of those Keurig things .. they make lousy coffee, but they ARE fast) ... So, I don't know a damned thing about HVAC, but .. until I could get someone over there ... Off I go.

I played with the thermostat, The furnace is placed in the attic, over the garage (only house that I own that has that setup), I turn the furnace switch to off ... I turn it back to on .. Go down and back ... play with the thermostat .... I do this a few times, just to make it look like I know something about something ... and a stall until my HVAC tech gets up and it's not a double time emergency charge

Lo and freakin' behold, that sucker fired back up and everyone is warm and toasty. It's 18 Fahrenheit, not a nice time for furnaces to go bump in the night.

So, Moore loses. Jones wins ... Life goes on. The people of Alabama have made their selection. Life is good.
