Here's the one I will probably buy. There are 2200 watt varieties of most brands but the motor is the same as the 2000W. It is my understanding that some issues are being noticed with the ones that try to get more watts from the same fuel and motor.

Buying a garage queen is a really good idea. Lots of people get tired of sitting on a generator if they never have to use it and end up selling cheap. I used to buy the Honda EU2000s when they first came out for around $575 open box from people. They thought they had a lemon that would not start and so they wanted to get rid of the gen quickly. All it was....they did not put oil into the new machine and so the low oil shutdown was activated...i.e. the things would not start.

I got a great bargain on my Yamaha at an estate sale. $500 with 30 hours on it (EF2000iS). You can't tell it from new. It's what I ran during rgis power outage. Excellent, quiet.

Wayne, be aware of the date codes on your grill tanks. They may enforce those laws one of these days.
