Re: Shoulder Surgery Question
In Response To: Re: Shoulder Surgery Question ()

Thanks for your response. Prior to op, I felt the out of place bicep muscle between my arm pit and chest compared to uninjured right arm. The Doctor said that they tried to relocate it the best they could and put the bicep in tension. With the sling holding arm to chest, I can't tell if muscle has sprung loose from surgical position. My arm was in sling in restaurant so I do not think it could move very much except for bicep muscle reaction to catch falling fork resulting in the pain. I need to only assume now nothing happened and follow recovery instructions. Reading prescription for therapy starting on 3/22, I will probably know in week 8 after when weghts/resistance can be applied if bicep muscle is intact. Till then, need to be careful and do as you said. Thanks!
