I've seen you put that up here before...that you don't do the updates. Interesting. I'm just the opposite and my computer runs as it always did.

I run Microsoft's defender for self defense against crap on the net and other things. Haven't been zapped in many, many years. Who better to check for changes in code etc than the guys who write the code is the way I figure it.

Every so often I get a message to restart the computer so the updates will take effect, so I do. Can't tell anything changed.
