I suggest you do a long fast and listen to what your body tells you as it is starved. The reason poor people are fat is that they are so close to starvation. They buy the cheapest calories they can buy to maintain (or, even better) put on weight because their minds tell them they are a step away from dying. Do you think a starving person thinks "I need healthy food and fresh green beans and a balanced diet?" If you have ever been starving, you know you go to the cheapest calories.
