OK,I see. I'll just smooth the ruffled feathers out a little,lol. I just wanted to clarify my thoughts as posting about NG breakdowns and breakouts short term might 'appear' to suggest I'm pumped about the price action which I'm not. And I agree with you and Wayne as until the chart starts moving from the lower left to upper right and starts breaking out above its flat pattern I'm not really interested. This base building pattern(if in fact it is)could take months to finalize. And to top it off a sideways channel base 'after' a selloff has a 75% chance of breaking 'DOWN' again not up. And when that occurs it means it was not a base being built at all but just a pause in a bear market before continuing its downtrend! Not good odds all round. That scenario would also fit CO's comment about a 'washout'.
