Here is an easy market to trade for precious metal traders and is inexpensive to boot and can be bought within a tax exempt retirement account. CEF is an ETF that is 55% Gold and 45% Silver. Notice price is also testing resistance at $23 on this ETF. Same technicals as Silver and price must "CLEAR AND HOLD" above $23 to confirm a breakout. The early bird doesn't always get the worm. Wait for confirmation of a breakout and pay a tad more rather than 'jumping the gun'. Buying at 'major support' is fine as you know exactly where your stop needs to be. But buying breakouts you must wait for confirmation of holding above the breakout or the breakout could simply be stop losses being hit and the artificial buying evaporating after the short covering is over and price resuming the downtrend. False breakouts catch a lot of traders all the time.
