One of our tenants is into backyard chickens. That's in a suburb where it's legal ... so have at it. A pig'd be nice, but I don't know what that suburbs ordinances on 'em are.

Eggs iz good 'n chickens be tasty ,,, easy to kill and butcher. A hog, on the other hand, is a b-tch to butcher. Their relatively easy to kill (where'd you think the expression "squeal like a stuck pig" was derived?) ... but hard to skin.
