I always liked Drudge because there is a wide variety of stories to pick through...not all politics. Other than that, I agree, nothing you can't eventually pick up somewhere else.

Have a friend who is constantly bleating about the commercials on cable. I try to tell him he just needs to become a recording/remote control Ninja like me. We both wonder why it is we are paying for TV and still having the damned commercials. We can get that over the airwaves...free...and the programming on cable isn't that much better than what comes in over the air.

The main reason I have cable is for the football. If it weren't for that I wouldn't have it at all and even with the football I have to question the cost to pleasure ratio...that is iffy at best, too.
