Howdy Trades, yes I watched bits and pieces of the RNC, but like you, I can't listen to too much of their crap without freaking out. About the 9k population of Port Townsend, from what I can remember it is a pretty small town. All the houses are 100 year old, or older Victorian houses that have been well maintained over the years so the town is probably a well kept secret enclave of very wealthy people is my guess, but don't know for sure. I know that back in the 1800's Port Townsend was a major west coast sea port and they were thinking about making it the capitol but then scraped that idea for whatever reason. You really should go check it out, it is, or was a really cool town when I saw it, but who knows what it's like today.
